A safari in the Sam Sand Dunes in Jaisalmer should be No. 1 on your list of must-visits here. On the edge of the famous Jaisalmer Desert National Park, Sam Sand Dunes is about 42 km from the city and has excellent roads. 

The dunes are best seen either at sunrise or sunset, either by camel or jeep safari. You can also go quad biking and dune bashing at these dunes. The desert areas here are perfect for these sports. If you’re an adventure freak, don’t resist the temptation to go dune and quad biking here.
